IDI Guidance

To support the learning and impact plan and our learning loop conversations throughout the agreement, organisations we work with share data for linking with the Stats NZ Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI). The IDI is a large, legislatively protected, trusted research database that holds de-identified information about people and households in Aotearoa. Data Sharing Agreements

Here is an example of a data sharing agreement that an organisation would have with Stats NZ as part of their agreement.

We are committed to sharing useful insights from the IDI with you to support you get better access to data. We’ll share this information on a regular basis through a dashboard created specifically for your initiative.
